Exceptional property and hosts.

This was a unique property with an interesting history, very spacious and comfortable. The hosts were lovely people. We highly recommend staying at least a couple of nights to enjoy the surroundings while visiting Josselin. It was the ideal stopover on our bike trip. Ps: the indoor pool was an added bonus:)

Good location, beautiful well maintened house. Room was very spacious, renovated with all necessary amenities. Parking on the property. Staff was very responsive, allowed late check in and provided all necessary information

Lovely location, friendly stay in a unique architect's house.

Really interesting building (architect designed) and close to town via a short, pleasant walk. Friendly hosts, lovely a room and lots of space to relax.

Maybe a little more choice or variation at breakfast would have been good, but it was still very nice anyway.

Lovely, well presented property in a beautiful village

Quirky 70s architect designed home with large rooms. our bathroom was circular - very cute! Friendly, helpful hosts who spoke English. Short 6 minute walk into village. Beautiful rose gardens.

A bit difficult to find - navigation apps aren’t exact and show the back fence. It was very warm (June) and we slept with a pedestal fan and window wide open - hence couldn’t darken the room. The description says there is a view of the castle but it is only visible in winter - too much foliage in summer.

A comfortable, spacious and tranquil stay

Pleasant, friendly hosts, who gave us clear instructions and information about the property on arrival. Very spacious room and bathroom. Good coffee served in a vacuum pot for breakfast, which kept it nice and hot! The property is within convenient walking distance from the town, which has a number of good restaurants and is very attractive to visit.

We were relying on our sat nav to locate the property, but, in the absence of a road name, it was useless, so we had difficulty finding it. Fortunately, the Bureau de Tourisme was open and they were able to locate it and give us a local map. A little sign at the bottom of Chemin des Cordiers might be a great help to future guests?

Quiet, comfortable, very friendly. Exceptional architect designed house.

Typical French breakfast

A bar, even an honesty bar would have been good, because of the remote location of the premises. There is a snooker table but without any refreshment. No food was allowed into the rooms, so forcing a lunchtime drive to the nearest cafe. Snacks provided by the hosts would have been very welcome, even just a sandwich

A stunning, unique property….not to be missed.

The property far exceeded our expectations; being in extensive grounds and being an absolutely stunning building, both inside and out. We loved our circular bathroom, marble on the first floor, the spacious layout, the beautiful stairway with unusual bannisters, and many, many unique features designed especially for the property. Breakfast was great with fruit, juice, pastries, bread, etc and coffee/tea. Eggs were available, too. It was near Josselin for an easy visit to this historic town. The people were very willing and helpful and incredibly pleasant. We would definitely go back. I feel privileged to have seen and stayed in such a beautiful, perfect property of its era.

Une expérience inoubliable

Merci à tous les deux pour votre accueil. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Une expérience au coeur d'un immense parc à deux pas du centre ville et du chateau. Une journée chez vous, c'est vraiment trop court et nous prévoyons déjà de revenir cet été avec les enfants pour passer 4 ou 5 jours et profiter de lieu.

L'accueil des Hôtes, leur sens de l'hospitalité, le desir de faire plaisir en s'adaptant aux envies et goûts, la cuisine de Natacha et son piment exceptionnel, le sens de l'humour caustique de Jean Pierre. La maison magnifique, la grandeur de notre chambre, le calme , une architecture L'emplacement, à proximité de la ville.

Belle maison avec vue sur la campagne de Josselin

Maison d'architecte des années 70, immense et atypique qui mérite vraiment la visite! Au calme, dans un très grand parc, tout en étant facilement accessible depuis le centre ville de Josselin. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Nous avons apprécié également la possibilité de table d'hôte. Accueil chaleureux de Jean-Pierre et Natacha. Vélos en sécurité. Proche de la voie cyclable du canal de Nantes à Brest.

L'accès à la piscine (seulement de 14h à 18h) alors que l'accueil dans cette maison d'hôte ne se fait qu'après 18h. Il n'est donc pas possible de profiter de la piscine lorsqu'on ne reste qu'une seule nuit. C'est un peu dommage.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Pool war herrlich in den HItzetagen. Es gibt Hühner, Enten und zwei Ziegen. Das Grundstück ist riesig und gepflegt und das Haus architektonisch interessant. Erinnert ein bisschen an Filme in den 70er Jahren, die an der französischen Südküste gespielt haben

Hôtes vraiment très accueillants et sympas. Quelques petits bémols, à revoir peut-être...

Petit déjeuner copieux et variés, il y en a pour tous les goûts. On l'aurait encore plus apprécié si on avait pu le prendre à l'extérieur sur la terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur les environs. La maison est magnifique, bien décorée, propre, rien à dire sur les très belles chambres spacieuses !

Surprise à notre arrivée ! Chaussures interdites dans la maison. Nos hôtes nous mettent des chaussons à disposition. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu profiter de la piscine bien que celle-ci soit à l'intérieur (disponible à partir du 30 juin seulement). A notre arrivée, il faisait très chaud, mais aucune boisson proposée et pas de transat dans le jardin pour nous relaxer après un long voyage. On s'est allongé sur l'herbe !

Maison tout à fait extraordinaire dans un bel environnement tout proche de Josselin. Très confortable, accueil agréable, nos hôtes ont été très réactifs et bienveillants.
