Napier House

Loved this B&B. Phillipe has filled this lovely old home with beautiful, carefully chosen furnishings, excellent towels, and the very best bedding possible. Breakfast was fresh and scrumptious. The grounds are beautiful; gardening is his passion, and we felt like we were far from neighbors, even though the houses are close together. This home is the absolutely perfect place to stay.

Napier House and Phillipe, the host, was a highlight off our cycling trip around the Gaspesie Peninsula. We had to cross over to the New Brunswick side to spend one night and we are so glad we booked Napier House. My friend and I were soaking wet and cold from biking in the rain all day. Phillipe was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to take care of us and make us comfortable- making us dinner, doing our laundry, making sure we were warm and fed. I can't thank him enough. He allowed us to stay extra late to miss the worst of the rain the next day as well. He is a lovely host and a warm and inviting person to chat with. Thank you so much Phillipe! The house is incredible, he has done a great job restoring a large old home and making it comfortable while retaining its charm. The decor and furnishings are very tasteful and high quality. The grounds around the house are reminiscent of a whimsical flower garden, thanks to Phillipe's incredible green thumb. You really do feel like you're being hosted in someone's home. We had such a hard time leaving.
