The perfect cozy cottage you don't want to leave

The location was magic, a nice cottage literally onto the river, the place was itself nice, clean, furnished with taste, great vibe, with all the comfort, and the benefit of the hot tub was amazing. Alan thought of everything we could, also of things we didn't, the welcome kit was plenty, and the home baked loaf of bread was quickly gone.

Such a relaxing break listening to the river flowing and the outdoor hot tub. So private and cosy.

Little extra touches homemade soda and treats left out for arrival. Such a cosy comfy place we could chill with our dogs. Would recommend and will definitely stay again.

A great place for a stay in one of the most beautiful corners of the island.

thoroughly enjoyed my stay in riverside. A great location with proximity to Belfast and the coastal areas in niorth Antrim. Everything you could need is within minutes from the property. There was a very pleasant arrival package of homemade bread, teaa, coffee, milk and other assorted goodies on arrival.

Beautiful Cottage, amazing hosts.

The cottage is beautiful, and the location is ideal for those wanting to visit Belfast but don't want to be situated in the city. The amenities were fabulous, and the hosts provided so many lovely things (especially the home-made soda bread) that it was better than a 5 star hotel. I stayed in the hot tub while the boys went to the golf at Portrush, so it was perfect for all of us.

The owner went to great lengths to make the place feel special on arrival. A wonderful welcome pack and amazing home-baked bread. The hot tub was a bonus touch and the bathroom is quite special too!

Brilliant stay

Wonderful location, close to local amenities and there was lots of bits in the house like milk, snacks, soap, etc. The style was gorgeous, I was obsessed with the beautiful decor and the little houses.

Lovely stay in the Antrim Country near Ballyclare in an old Mill cottage.

Beautiful building and lovely, country style interior. Allan was there to greet us and explain about the cottage and history. Lots of complimentary supplies and excellent selection of kitchen equipment. River runs along the outside of the cottage, with seating available along the bank.

Only one toilet in the bathroom.

It was delightful.

Alan met us soon after we let him know we were there. He explained what we needed to know. It was wonderful to have some basic food items supplied. (Milk, juices,butter). The cottage is adorable. Everything you need for utensils and dishes to cook a meal. The kitchen is spacious enough to move around in and has a small dining area. The living room is comfortable. Our granddaughters loved the upstairs bedroom and my husband and I appreciated the more stately main bedroom. The bathroom was also tastefully decorated and supplied. It was a little cool to sit outside but we could hear the gurgling stream and singing birds from inside. A totally delightful experience.

Historical property, modernised to a high standard. The property has been provided and is managed with the guests in mind containing everything and more that you might need for a short or long stay. Additionally the hosts provide a very generous welcome pack with an array of provisions. The hosts ensure that all your wishes are met including providing the wood fired hot tub ready for when you wish to use it, if booked separately. Was very homely and sound of river on side house was my favourite part.Host thought of everything u could possibly need and fresh buns and pastry even fresh milk in fridge and orange juice all the little details were thought about.my brother left his jacket there and the host Alan kindly dropped it to my front door even tho I said I'd get my dad come get it.,..he really went out of his way.Any questions I txt him he responded straight away even tho he has other businesses going on nothing ever stopped him from being so welcoming and made us feel important.thank u so much xxx

Alan was friendly helpful polite & had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable & relaxing. Alan had left a lovely welcome hamper of snacks, chocolate, breakfast bars, crisps. There was fresh bread, milk, butter,jams, marmalde, coffee tea sugar bottled water & yoghurts.Alan has thought of everything to make sure his guests have a very warm relaxing stay. Logwood is historical with a babbling stream running along the exterior of the cottage, beautiful plant pots trees & shrubs surround the cottage. Logwood is extremley clean fresh & welcoming. I would definitley recommend. There is secure off road parking & the cottage is very warm & cosy with constant hot water. The beds are very comfortable everyone slept well. Logwood is convenient to Ballyclare, Glengormley, Belfast, Lisburn & Hillsborough.

All the thoughtful touches. Milk, bread, tea, coffee, dressing gowns, shampoo, conditioner, very detailed welcome pack with emergency numbers, local info and available take aways. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the one small issue we had, he resolved quickly.
