We had a wonderful stay by the River Douro. The property was exactly in the location we had agreed upon, and the view truly exceeded our expectations — even better than what we had seen in the photos.
The home itself was as good as, if not better than, the listing. While it’s not positioned as a luxury stay, in my wife’s and my opinion it was absolutely worth every penny. Everything was spotless — genuinely squeaky clean — which made a big difference.
The hosts were outstanding. Communication was prompt and helpful, especially when we had a couple of small questions about entering the property — everything was quickly resolved over the phone.
Honestly, we could have stayed somewhere much more expensive and not had such a positive overall experience.
Many thanks to the host, and congratulations on a fantastic property. We would highly recommend it to other visitors.
The only very minor negatives were the driveway up the hill, which could be a little better maintained, and a small moment of uncertainty on arrival as to which gate to use. That said, these were truly minor points.

Espaço acolhedor, com uma vista para o Douro deslumbrante! Espaço perfeito para uma estadia relaxante e prazerosa. O alojamento apresenta todos as condições necessárias e o anfitrião foi muito atencioso durante toda a nossa estadia.
O jacuzzi é sem dúvida um plus, no entanto, é necessário bastantes horas para que a água atinja a temperatura desejada.
Iremos regressar certamente.

Good location between Porto and the Douro vineyards. Affordable price.
Calling this apartment a villa is misleading. It was more like a converted garden shed with a nice view. The kitchenette was spare and the WC was tiny.
