Three Gables

The Three Gables is a lovely old building full of character and old charm. And an interesting history behind it. The ceiling in the old billiards room, now the dining room is amazing. The stair case is also beautifully carved. Jane our host was so lovely, her attention to personal detail was great. Remembering everyone's name and preferences.

The location was great everything a short walk away, Jane was the perfect host ,breakfast was excellent the rooms had everything you could possibly need and every where was spotlessly clean.

I didn’t realise I had booked the room in the attic my fault entirely next time I will definitely book a room on first floor for a more comfortable stay.

A lovely welcome. Beautiful building. Easy access- no steps. Ground floor room was large and had a sofa and riser chair. Good shower. Comfy beds. Lots of little thoughtful extras. Excellent breakfast. Tea/coffee available to self serve anytime, and a comfy lounge to sit in too. My gluten free needs were well met.

A hair dryer would have been useful. An extension lead for e'g phone chargers as there are not any free sockets. The shabby pavement would be offputting for someone with more serious mobility issues.

I liked the idea that breakfast was pre-booked the evening before-the reason being to minimise food waste. There was a great choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereal and toast, along along with a cooked breakfast tailored to your requirements. Jane could not have been more helpful in catering for my gluten-free requirement. The whole atmosphere of the accommodation was wonderful-such a grand property with a fascinating history, very well described by Jane at our first introduction. We could not fault the accommodation or service received.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Great friendly service, wonderful accommodation, on-site parking, good location. A perfectly run B&B We managed to see Puffins at Bempton Cliffs which was our main objective What's not to like?
