CasaViva-Central Elegant apartment in Camogli

Appartamento luminoso e spazioso con due camere da letto (una con vista mare), un soggiorno (anche qui vista mare), una sala da pranzo, una grande cucina e ben due bagni. La posizione è ideale: a pochi passi dal mare, dal porticciolo e dalla stazione. Nelle immediate vicinanze si trovano un supermercato, una farmacia, oltre a numerosi bar, gelaterie e ristoranti. Il gestore è estremamente gentile, rapido nelle risposte e sempre disponibile ad accogliere ogni richiesta, come ad esempio un check-in anticipato. È la quinta volta che scegliamo questa struttura e continuerà a essere la nostra scelta ogni volta che torniamo a Camogli!

Ottima posizione, ideale per famiglie, o per piccoli gruppi di amici

Sebbene posizione e spazi fossero molto buoni, la casa era davvero molto impolverata, tanto da causare starnuti, e la pulizia in generale ha lasciato a desiderare in tutti gli spazi. In cucina gli stipetti all'interno erano arrugginiti, così come il porta posate. La proprietà è stata particolarmente assillante su regole e modalità per lasciare l'appartamento dal primo giorno arrivati all'ultimo, fino a risultare fastidiosa. Peccato per la posizione, ma non ci tornerei.

Perfect location in the centre of Camogli just one street behind the seafront. Bright & spacious apartment with some good amenities. The living room is as pictured as is all of the apartment and is a great space.

Found the check in process overly complicated with having to send and complete forms & pictures of passport's prior to check in,then we had to go to a hotel to show our passports anyway to be allowed the keys on the day of arrival so unsure the reason for requiring this info beforehand when there is a key safe a couple of steps from the property . Beds weren't the comfiest in the second bedroom the mattress were tiny and didn't fully fit the single bed frames. No iron or ironing board, we did message and advised there was an iron but never found it. No maid/cleaning services all week, had to wash towels as only given 1 hand and body towel per person to last all week. You have to dispose of all your bottles/waste during your stay and on check out you are expected to empty all your rubbish before hand otherwise you will be charged an additional fee. Feel if the mattresses were updated and perhaps one visit from a cleaning service per week to change bedding/towels and take away rubbish I would have definitely given a higher score. I would still recommend this apartment however wanted to leave some solid feedback so that future guests have a more enjoyable stay.

Close to the train station. Slept 5. While the room wasn’t ready at check in time we were offered a late check out (we didn’t need it).

Muggy (no AC) and hard to sleep (hard bed). Unit was not ready on time. Pots/Utensils etc were filmy/dirty. No markets were ever open in the morning or evening and we had a hard time finding food when we arrived at 4pm so the kitchen didn’t add value. We bought groceries elsewhere and carried on the train. Location is not part of the Cinque Terre Train Day pass. We ended up paying for this accommodation for five nights but leaving after two and then paying for another accommodation in Monterosso (Bellambra which was amazing).
