Location, Location, Location. AC worked extremely well. Washer worked well. Nice views of the city. Price was a great value. Close to grocery stores, money exchange, restaurants, and El Carmen metro station. The rental lady and building maintenance man were really kind and helpful. Many nice small restaurants nearby.
These are not deal breakers but things to consider. You have to weigh paying $150 plus a night to be at chain hotels nearby to some minor inconveniences. This location can be noisy as you are in the middle of the city. The shower water is cold. However, the city is hot and humid. The unit shares a kitchen, bathroom, balcony, and laundry area with around four parties. If one person is a slob or intolerable, it can affect the quality of your stay. So, as long as you can tolerate others, this can be a great place.
