It must be said up front that there are ALWAYS 31 stair steps to the top level where entry is made. In the winter, add another 25 steps from the driveway for a total of 56 stair steps with all your luggage. I do not see those 31 stair steps disclosed anywhere in the listing. I do see the 26 steps mentioned during the winter time, but not the other 31 steps. If you can't park near the beginning of the stairs, and must park at the very bottom (as we did), there's quite a few more steps up the driveway. It's worth it, but know this up front.
Otherwise, the property was wonderful! Magnificent vaulted ceilings! Fantastic views! Warm fireplace! Great amenities!
There needs to be better lighting on the steps and a sign at the first level letting you know that you need to go all the way to the top. My 81yo parental unit fell due to the lack of lighting. She's okay.
If there is, indeed, someone living at the first level, that needs to be disclosed.
With the height of the snow, when I requested the snow crew to return and shovel space to open our car doors, I was told there was a shovel on the front porch.

Location, views, comfort and general cleanliness.
This is NOT a luxury property in terms of the details. House temp was in the 50’s when we arrived. Sofa pillows and bedding need updating. Not a single lamp in the main living area - only very bright ceiling lights. Some pots and pans could stand to be replaced so they function when cooking. Barely functioning fireplace. Oven venting hasn’t been cleaned so it’s not functioning as it should and cabinets above are very greasy. Oven temperatures are inconsistent so not sure oven has been properly serviced.
