The Stable House

We couldn’t rate the hosts as didn’t need to meet anyone as keys were made available! We hadn’t stayed here before but would definitely book again. The accommodation was very well equipped and clean with comfortable beds and couldn’t find fault with anything so much so you feel you could live happily there!

Only teeny criticism was maybe hooks on bedroom doors for dressing gowns but that’s being very picky and didn’t spoil our stay

Really lovely house, spacious with almost everything we needed. The hot tub is fab, and the football table and ping pong really fun. Beautiful grounds and a really well kitted out kitchen.

The property is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. There is plenty of space for a large group of 8, and lots to entertain (pool table, table football, board games, hot tub, beautiful garden). The kitchen is well equipped and a great family space with a large dining table, comfy sofa and plenty of space for several people to prepare food at the same time. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfy beds. The whole house was spotlessly clean. The host, Sarah was friendly and communicative and could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. We loved this holiday home and will definitely be returning.

The cost was a bit steep for 2 nights, however, we realised after booking that it works out to be really good value if booking for a longer stay. We'll definitely do this next time! We were offered a late check-out which was really appreciated as we could spend another full day at the property.

Beautiful house in peaceful location. Lots of space to spread out, the pool table and hot tub were well used. Well furnished and stocked with plenty of crockery etc. Good enclosed garden makes it ideal if you take a dog

We felt that for 8 adults sharing, 1 tiny shower cubicle on the ground floor (and really this was meant more for showering before & after hot tub) just isn't enough. Large roll top bath upstairs looks lovely but is impractical. The bathroom had plenty of space to add an additional shower cubicle. Kitchen cupboards are a bit tired and needed replacing, which was out of step with the rest of the property
