Rago's Homestay

Very welcoming. Best evening meal we've eaten in Indonesia, delicious home cooked fresh meal with lots of choice. Bed and outdoor toilet basic, and clean. Very friendly family homestay, nothing is too much bother. Great music played at dinner by the family who encourage the guests to join in, with no pressure. Adrien is their taxi driver. We felt very safe with his driving skills. He picked us up from the airport and took us back again, as well as driving us to Keli Mutu and waited for us. You can also hire him for the whole day to take you on a local sight seeing tour, just ask him. Everything was very easy.

Family run property very friendly and accommodating. Lovely shared meal prepared for us provided an opportunity to sit and converse with the family and other travellers Short walk into town via scenic rice paddies

Not a criticism but be aware the homestay is on a main road and there is traffic noise

This homestay is absolutely lovely! The owner Jhon and his wife created such a welcoming, friendly and social atmosphere within few minutes. Jjon tries to look after every guest and is really interested in their stories. His wife is responsible for the amazing food that will be served every evening in a buffet style. You can choose between many dishes and pay a decent price (75k) for all you can eat. Normally they have live music but unfortunately this night their voices were gone 😅 WiFi was very solid

- We actually really liked the location. Because you are further away from town, it is a lot more quiet. In the rooms in town it would not be able to go to bed early, because of the live music playing. Also the location next to the river is beautiful. - Staff is really really really nice. Had an amazing day touring with them. - Nice, hot outside shower.

- I almost liked everything about our stay, but I can only give a 6 as a rating because there was mold everywhere. Our bedding was filled with black mold. There was mold on the wall as well.
