Das Original Desert Camp ist ein eher kleines (6 Zelte) Camp. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt Mitte März waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Die Illusion von etwas Einsamkeit war genau das war wir gesucht haben. Daher haben wir das bekommen was wir wollten.
Auch wenn dieses Camp sehr klein ist, ist es umgeben von großen anderen Camps. Nachts hört man Generatoren laufen, zum Sonnenaufgang, tagsüber und zum Sonnenuntergang fahren Quads auch in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Camp vorbei. Diese Geräuschkulisse empfanden wir als nervig. Nachts gibt es trotz Wüste einiges an Lichtverschmutzung, was die Betrachtung der Sterne beeinträchtigt. Der Transfer zum Camp ist mit 60 Euro viel zu teuer. Wenn man die Kosten für Unterkunft, Transfer und Frühstück/Abendessen als Gesamtpaket betrachtet ist es aber ok.

Es wurde auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen, es wurde alles sorgenlos organisiert - Snowboarden in der Wüste, Kamelenritt oder eine organisierte Quadfahrt durch und über die Dünen.

Goede locatie in de woestijn, niet vlak naast een ander kamp en kleiner dan de andere kampen, dat was super! Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en charmant.
