"It had everything we needed to feel right at home. Everything felt new and fresh. Also, the location was perfect between Highlands and Cashiers."

Melodie, our hostess was fabulous in helping with any questions we had and with adjusting our dates of stay due to Hurricane Idalia . The house was near town and off a busy street but was very private and peaceful. The home was well equipped with lots of windows and natural light and it overlooked a small pond. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home and would absolutely stay there again.
Some extra lamps would be helpful. It might be awkward to book with another couple as there is only one bathroom and it is in the main house while the second bedroom is in a separate room above the garage, connected by a deck with the main house. Guests would have to go outside by way of the deck connecting the buildings to access the bathroom.

Secluded in the woods close to Highlands NC, balcony and a small lake views. Very private and quiet. Great weekend getaway !
Part access road could be difficult in adverse weather

Tucked away so it was very peaceful. Only 2 miles from downtown so location was great!! It was very clean and even though we are out for most of our meals the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking and baking pans!
