Everything was amazing apart from the parking which was very tight either two large cars. The property & location more than made up for it.

The only issue was the parking - although there is a space it was difficult to get out of if the neighbours were using their parking space because there were also pallets with building materials in the space that might have helped with reversing. on the last morning we had to reverse out down the lane which was tricky - but other people might not find this a problem and once the pallets are gone that should help

A perfect spot for a wonderful Cotswold holiday.

The property is located in a proper Cotswold village - old honey colored stone cottages surrounding a village green with a stream running through it, and even a pub. Best of all, it is a community and not a tourist destination, even though it is only 2 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold. Travel down a narrow lane for 1/2 mile and you emerge into a different world! The property is fitted to a very high standard, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms, and it retains all of its character features. The bedrooms are spacious. The sitting room is very comfortable with a charming atmosphere. We enjoyed the good connectivity and video options. There is no end to the outstanding footpath options that can be explored nearby and in the region!

The village is in a cellular dead spot, but that comes with the territory. If we could change one thing, it would be that the sitting room had more natural light. It would be ideal if the side wall had another bank of windows, but this is just wishful thinking. That's not the way these places were built back in the day. We had a very poor experience getting a late lunch at the local pub; the food was very overcooked and it was very expensive compared to other pub food we had on our extended holiday. Others may find a different experience.

A very comfortable stay.

The Property was spotlessly clean, very warm and had welcoming lights on when we arrived at dusk. Milk and biscuits were left for us on and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was plenty of hot water and beds were comfortable. With cold weather and dark evenings it was good to have a log burner with facility for lighting. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

The parking facility is difficult, our car is not huge but getting in and out was quite tricky. A problem with the shower, the deluge function not working, meant a visit from plumber and electrician but it didn't spoil our visit.

Stunning Shenley in beautiful Broadwell.

Superbly located in the beautiful hamlet of Broadwell, the property location could not have been more perfect. The bedrooms were spacious and met all our needs. In the back yard a good sized table and chairs were provided for outside dining.

Only two issues could be commented on; the pans and kitchen utensils could be updated & the cutlery drawer needed cleaning properly.

Lovely cottage, great amenities throughout, spacious rooms, and great area to start your holiday.

The cottage was lovely, very spacious, and clean. The location was very picturesque and tucked away in a quiet street. Shenley is a short drive to Stow-On-The-Wold with access to shops and restaurants. I would recommend a stay to anyone.

Parking on the driveway is difficult and not recommended, however there is parking available at the bottom of the driveway that is accessible and available.

Un charmant cottage dans les Cotswolds

Un cottage qui allie le charme de l'ancien (vieux parquet, tableaux aux murs...,) et le confort de la modernité (cuisine, salle de douche et salle de bain neuves). Très calme dans un petit hameau, à deux pas d'une petite aire de jeux. a 5 min en voiture de Stow-on-the-Wold (grand supermarché) et Moreton-on-Marsh (divers commerces). Très bien situé pour visiter les Cotwolds.
