Villa Max

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Max! Dimitri is an awesome host and met us at the house to hand over the keys and show us around. He also left a generous supply of drinks and food to get us started :-). He was available at all times to help us with any issues and answer questions. The pool was awesome and there are plenty of loungers and room in the garden to relax. It was pretty hot while we were were there but there are plenty of fans in the house to help. There is also an air conditioning unit upstairs, which we didn't really use as there were only five of us so we didn't use the upstairs area. The location was perfect with lovely sea views! The villa is in a very nice, quiet area of Lloret de Mar and because the parking in town isn't good when we stayed local we left the car parked up at the villa. It is around a 20 minute walk down the hill to LLoret de Mar beach and the centre of the main shopping/restaurant area. There is a large supermarket around 5 mins drive, 10 mins walk away. The walk back up the hill is a little more challenging but we had no problem with this all week. If you have a car there are some gorgeous beaches and towns to explore a little farther afield. Also some lovely local restaurants. We would highly recommend Al Freskito. We got a bus to Barcelona one day, the bus stop is is at the bottom of the hill and I would recommend booking in advance. We had a huge drive on day we left and Dimitri very kindly gave us some food and gifts for our journey. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay again!

We did get a bit savaged by mosquitos but this is pretty normal for the area and there was bug spray at the house which helped.

Location was perfect for us. We traveled by bike and car and Villa Max met our expectations as a base. It is also only 15 minutes from the grocery store and from the beach by car.

Las camas muy debil, pasamos con fecha hace mucho calor , no hay aire condicionado …pero disponible vendilador…falta conservar los bicicleta, con el bonito que es , los bicicleta ninguna funciona por falta mantenimiento…dar lástima …
