This place was just perfect! And the host, Gonzalo was awesome. Super friendly, thorough and accommodating. The apartment itself had all the necessities one would require. The kitchen was equipped, the bed(s) were super comfortable, the internet was strong and the shower was hot. I felt right at home. There was a small fruit stand near, as well as a couple restaurants and a convenience store. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. The Malecon was only about a 15 minute walk away.

The host Gonzalo is very nice and at all times ready to help. He also arrived a earlier for the check-in as we asked if that would be possible. You'll have 20l of potable water. It's a nice place to stay for a few days. We enjoyed Mahahual a lot!

Gonzalo was in constant communication prior arrival and waited for us at the house. They showed us everything, gave tips on what to do and even helped to unload a motorcycle from the truck. The house is basic but has everything you'd need to stay for a day or few.
During rain electricity went out couple of times but wasn't a big deal for us.
