Quiet location yet easily accessible to town centre. Proximity of nature and wildlife. Beautiful location and views. Well-appointed cottage, warm and comfortable. Availability of parking.
Minor points, but I’ll mention them. There was a little dust in the bedroom drawers. The exterior door locks were a little stiff. The shower door leaks from just below the hinge.

The little cottage was perfect for the two of us. So clean , comfortable and had all utensils etc that we needed. We couldn't have asked for better. The Location was fantastic. We could easily walk to the pier in one direction. Many boat trips leave from here, or to Ambleside shops to get in supplies, in the other direction.
There was honestly nothing to dislike.

Location, layout of cottage. Perfect for 1-2 people.
Gardens should be better maintained-difficult to get to the seat in back slopes garden. Back windows-would be nice if they had at least sheers over the windows for at night. Need paper towels in the kitchen. All else was very good!

It was a beautiful cottage in a brilliant location. The kitchen was really well equipped with cooking equipment and crockery. The grounds of the property were really lovely with fantastic views of the lakes. We even saw deer from the window!
There were only thin net curtains in the bedroom which meant that we found it really difficult to sleep, we even bought eye masks to try and help. It was a small double too which also didn't help the sleep. Had we had a good night's sleep I would have given it 5 stars!! Also more detailed instructions about how to find it would have helped.
