We had a fabulous holiday in a magical place and look forward to returning again soon.
The little cottage was perfect for the two of us. So clean , comfortable and had all utensils etc that we needed. We couldn't have asked for better. The Location was fantastic. We could easily walk to the pier in one direction. Many boat trips leave from here, or to Ambleside shops to get in supplies, in the other direction.
There was honestly nothing to dislike.

Lovely place to stay-I will return
Location, layout of cottage. Perfect for 1-2 people.
Gardens should be better maintained-difficult to get to the seat in back slopes garden. Back windows-would be nice if they had at least sheers over the windows for at night. Need paper towels in the kitchen. All else was very good!

Lovely cottage but it needs proper curtains
It was a beautiful cottage in a brilliant location. The kitchen was really well equipped with cooking equipment and crockery. The grounds of the property were really lovely with fantastic views of the lakes. We even saw deer from the window!
There were only thin net curtains in the bedroom which meant that we found it really difficult to sleep, we even bought eye masks to try and help. It was a small double too which also didn't help the sleep. Had we had a good night's sleep I would have given it 5 stars!! Also more detailed instructions about how to find it would have helped.

Fantastic detached cottage in great location - check in/out times disappointing.
Lovely detached cottage - finished to high quality and modern facilities - very quiet location with lovely views. 15 min stroll to Ambleside centre and 5 mins from the lake.
Could do with an ironing board if staying for more than 3 days. The check in times need reviewing - 5pm check in and 9am checkout - doesn’t leave much time on first day to enjoy your stay. Should really be 3pm and 10am - this would give adequate time for cleaning.
