Relaxing sunny Nelson retreat, balcony views, short walk to CBD

I had a wonderful stay at Deb’s house. It was warm, welcoming, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. This home is in a peaceful location, and a short stroll to the city centre. Preparing meals was made easy, thanks to the fully equipped kitchen. The luxurious claw-foot bath made for a relaxing evening. I will definitely book again, hopefully for a longer visit next time. We had the best time here. We were one couple and an individual. The space was ideal for what we needed. Perfectly private. Close to lots of food, cafe's and activities. Deb was absolutely wonderful the whole way through. Very communicative and gave us some great tips on things to do.

The bed in the front room was a bit on the soft side for our preference (but our preference is quite firm). The other room's bed was reportedly very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Sunny Nelson Cottage in Nelson. The home has great character and was spotless on arrival, with easy access and a fantastic central location. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, which made settling in effortless. The bedrooms were well set up and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. One of the highlights was sitting outside in the afternoon sun, which we thoroughly enjoyed each day. It felt peaceful and welcoming throughout. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Nelson.

There was nothing not to like about this home.

Deb, the host was so communicative from the very beginning right through to the end of our stay. Whatever we needed answers to, she responded. Her place was so homey and welcoming and she added all the little touches that really makes a place feel like a home away from home :) The location was perfect, so close to the downtown core of restaurants, with easy parking and accessible to highways. Great outdoor spaces for the Sunny days! We can see why it is called the Sunny Nelson Cottage!

We can't think of anything we didn't like at all! It was perfect!
