Cozy Cottage w/ Patio < 2 Mi to Rockport Beach!

Everything was absolutely perfect!

Loved the house and location 🙂 the owner had it stocked with all the kitchen things we could need and even the bathroom with everything we forgot shampoo and conditioner it was there. We needed a crockpot it was there. BBQ pit and fire pit. Fenced front and back yard for our dog!! They even had a small Christmas tree and a gift with candy!!

It was hard to keep floor clean bc all the dirt and leaves b on wood floor but that was absolutely no fault of the owners.

The house is cozy. Close to Everything.

I never got a response back when I arrived, to any questions I had. I wanted To stay another day and did not hear back from anyone. No TV in the bedrooms.very Little coffee,creamer or Condiments. NO POOL. Not enough lights outside it was very dark. No water bottles to drink water Were not explained everything needed to know.

It’s in a great location and on a corner lot. It’s very spacious inside and out. Looks small but was very comfortable.

So it’s not really the property that was the issue. Out check in is at 3 and we arrive at 4:30. There’s a car out side and I asked if she was the owner or what and she just looks at me confused. I ask again if she’s staying here or what. Finally she tells me she’s the cleaner and that the owners son is coming tomorrow and that’s why the house isn’t clean since she figured she had time to do it. I explain I’ve rented it out for the weekend and have had it booked for a little while now. Still confused she asked if I’m related to the owner since she was told the son was coming. I tell her no again and she shakes her head and walks away to make a call. She comes back and tells me that there must be miscommunication and asked to see my booking. I show her and then she nods and tells the person on the phone. Then she tells me well the house isn’t finished. I ask her how long and she just says she’s calling help. A man shows up they close the door and then she leaves the house. I wait for about 30 min…nothing, I get down and I ask what time will the house be ready…another 40min. We didn’t get inside the house till 6pm. Very bad first impression. The house was nice and clean from what we could tell. But would definitely make me hesitant to book with them again.
