The worst vacation we ever had

The worst experience and guest service we ever had
The owner tried to double charge us for the linen,even though we paid for them in the original reservation
when we complained to them about it they started complaining that we are the problem. no apology, only complaints
The owner tried to force us to make a bank transfer for the deposit, in contrast to the house rules in booking.com and said they only accept bank transfer, no cash or cards. A day before we arrived they wrote that we will not have access to the house if the transfer is not seen in their bank account, which was a problem for us, whereas we couldn't make international bank transfer from our phones
The owner sent us an angry message in the first morning complaining that we use high energy consumption (the temperature in the house was only 24 celsius) and threatened that if we continue with that consumption it will be taken from our deposit
When we called the owner to tell them to leave us alone and that they are ruining our vacation, after all they did and especially after they sent us the message with regard to the high consumption of energy, they said that we threatened their life (which was a complete lie) and said that they call the police - what destroyed the vacation totaly
Regarding the house
inside is nice, but it sits on a main road so it's very noisy and the view that is seen in the attached pictures of the house is seen only from the right side of the house and u can only see it from the sauna or from a small window in the second floor, whereas most of the right side of the view is hidden with an unfinished wharehouse

Prima uitvalsbasis om dit mooie stukje van België te ontdekken!
Bad op de kamer, sauna in de tuin, mooi wat ruimte om de tuin.
Fantastische bakkerij een klein eindje verderop.
Bij binnenkomst een enorme rooklucht wat gedurende het weekend bleef hangen.
Niet fijn om nog extra borg te betalen vooraf, en niet duidelijk wanneer dit terug gestort zou gaan worden.
Communicatie hierover kan beter.

Super!
Super mooi huisje op een hele centrale plek, supermarkt, tankstation, stadje, alles is in de buurt. Je kan zelfs lopend naar het stadje Durbuy. Fijne sfeer in het huisje en alles was netjes en schoon. Het terras met bbq beviel erg goed en je kan tot s avonds laat heerlijk buiten zitten. De sauna is een hele leuke toevoeging en daar hebben we ook zeker gebruik van gemaakt. Bedankt voor dit mooie verblijf.
Wij hebben helaas 4 van de 5 dagen een wat koude douche gehad, maar dat hoeft de pret niet te bederven! Gelukkig was het zomer.
