We'd return.
Better mountain views and more sunshine are the reward for walking up the short steep road to Chalet Ideal directly from the main street. Other places lower down in the village often have fewer mountain views. The Coop and Migros supermarkets are nearby for shopping. The kitchen is well equipped. The hosts Daniel and Jana are delightful and hardworking. We loved using the free lifts included with the Saastal Card, especially to Kreuzboden/ Hochsaas, Plattjen, Speilboden/ Längfluh, Morenia/ Fellskin and the Post bus to Mattmarksee. These give great easy access for hiking and for climbing the highest peaks.

Great Chalet, wonderful Hoast’s and a fabulous ski resort
The chalet is wonderfully located to give you great views. We could watch the activities and fireworks directly from the balcony. On the last day we even managed to ski directly back to the front door. Although there is a short steep walk from the high street it means you are very close to the shops, bars, restaurants. Just above you have the winter walking paths and you can use this to avoid the steep hill if you’re coming back from the ski runs. The owners are a wonderful family who were amazing and will help you to ensure your stay will fulfil all your needs. We look forward to returning in six weeks for our next trip

Alles was erg netjes
De chalet is erg moeilijk te bereiken. De weg ernaar toe is bijzonder stijl en slecht aangelegd. Er was zeer veel inkijk in het appartement door passeerders en de gordijntjes voor de ramen geven geen enkele privacy.

Die Lage, wir konnten von allen Fenstern die Berge sehen. Ich hatte eine Verletzung vom Ski laufen, der Vermieter, Daniel hat mich sicher zum Parkhaus den Berg hinunter gebracht, bei der Abreise.
