Ik dacht nooit aan Italië als een stil land omdat er meestal uitbundig en hartgrondig geleefd wordt. Als gast van Marco kom je echter op een stilte plek terecht waar je heel vaak bijna niets hoort en zo bestaan niet heel veel plekken. Omringd door olijfbomen rij je door een lange oprijlaan en zie je een prachtig wit landhuis opduiken en dan denk je, dit wordt goed ! Het welkomst comité staat al klaar aan de trappen van de parking, respectievelijk 1 en 10 jaar oud, met wapperende staarten. Ze begeleiden ons naar het huis waar Lucia ons de sleutel van een prachtig appartement met 2 slaapkamers overhandigt, met smaak en alle comfort ingericht. Zowel Lucia als Marco spreken goed Engels, aangename en vlotte conversatie verzekerd. We zien Marco even later met twee vers gelegde kippe-eitjes in zijn hand en een groot verhaal over het huis en de streek en het zwembad in opbouw. Behalve de honden huizen er ook nog twee paarden en een handvol koeien die luidend met hun bellen het terrein kort houden.
Het is soms lastig om je los te trekken van het terras met view om de buurt te verkennen, maar dat hebben we toch gedaan. Hoewel het soms leek of we alleen op de wereld waren, lagen heel fijne locaties binnen handbereik. In 15-20 minuten ben je in Vieste of Peschici en altijd ben je omringd door het beschermde Gargano Nationaal Park (waar je, zo blijkt, de oudste bomen van Italië vindt). Bij een agriturismo kan je lekker eten en die ligt maar op 2 minuutjes rijden (een auto heb je wel nodig als je naar Noveciento wil). En als je ter plekke iets wil knabbelen, dan moet je dit zelf aanvoeren, want er is niets van ontbijt voorzien. Als je helemaal culinair wil gaan, kan je dat in een goed uitgeruste grote keuken.
Voor ons waren het 4 prachtige bladzijden in ons verhaal van 21 Italiaanse dagen, ik raad je aan om je ook onder te dompelen in stijlvolle rust en charme…

The decor was beautiful, the apartment was well equipped and the location was peaceful and beautiful. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The dogs were super friendly, we booked for 2 nights but extended our stay

Najpiękniejsze miejsce w jakim byłam. Oaza spokoju, niemal dziewiczej przyrody połączona z ekskluzywnymi apartamentami. Jest ich tylko kilka co sprawia, że nikt nikomu nie przeszkadza. Ma się wrażenie jakby dom był tylko dla nas.
Jest tu wszystko co potrzebne by odpocząć w ciszy i z dala od ludzi.
Gospodarze bardzo pomocni, przyjaźni i ciepli.
W naszym apartamencie olbrzymia kuchnia z wielkim stołem, gdzie czuć klimat starych pełnych klimatu włoskich miejsc z której nie chciało się wychodzić.
Wychodząc z apartamentu moim oczom ukazywała się zachwycająca panorama z drzewkami oliwnymi. Czasem wśród gajów oliwnych przechadzał się mały konik.
Dwa przemiłe grzeczne i zupełnie niegroźne pieski prosiły za każdym razem o głaskanie gdy tylko nas zobaczyły.
Jestem zadowolona, że trafiłam tutaj i bardzo bardzo chciałabym tu wrócić chociaż raz.
Wyjeżdżam z apartamentu, a właściwie z Domu w którym mogłabym zamieszkać.

Eine herausragende Unterkunft. Wirklich aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wer eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in der Natur bevorzugt, wird hier fündig. Dazu kommt ein familiärer Gastgeber, der immer ansprechbar ist. Wer wirkliche Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Dazu kommt eine Anlage, eingebettet in die eigenen Olivenhaine, die gepflegt offen für die wenigen Gäste ist. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Weg zum Meer, nach Vieste und in den Nationalpark ist nicht weit. Das Appartement und der Außenbereich laden jedoch zum Verweilen ein. Sollte man doch einmal einen Ausflug in die wundervolle Umgebung machen, wird man bei der Rückkehr von den beiden gut erzogenen Hunden freudig begrüßt.
