Novecento Country House

There is a particular kind of silence that only exists far from signal bars and notifications and Novecento Country House holds it like a secret. We arrived expecting a place to sleep between excursions and left having found something closer to a paradise we didn't want to leave. The wifi is there if you need it, but we mostly didn't. What we had instead was the slow unspooling of a week marked by long beach days and time spend wandering between the property’s charming pool and the beautiful house we stayed in. Every late afternoon, I would settle into the armchair in front of the house and read as the sun went down over the Gargano hills, the light changing color in that unhurried way it only seems to in this part of Italy. Two of the friendliest dogs greeted us at the gate every single time we returned, tails going before the car had even stopped, and somehow that small, repeated welcome was enough to make a rented house feel like home by the second day. Marco's recommendations turned out to be the real treasure of the stay. He pointed us toward a small place in Vieste for what might have been the best pasta of our trip, sent us to the right local shops for produce so fresh it barely needed cooking, and steered us away from the crowds toward beaches so beautiful we kept returning to them rather than seeking out anywhere new. It's the kind of local knowledge no guidebook gives you, offered generously and exactly when we needed it. We left already plotting our return. A week wasn't enough

Wunderschöner Ort, liebevolle Gastgeber

Prachtige locatie en estate niet ver van Vieste. Prijs kwaliteit fantastisch. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Vlak naast eetgelegenheid met verse producten. Wij komen zeker terug. Ook het nieuwe zwembad is heerlijk en comfortabel met hetzelfde niveau aan privacy. Wij verbleven in het appartement voor 2 personen met BBQ en mochten een kijkje nemen in de andere appartementen, zelfde niveau aan luxe en voorzieningen. Elk appartement heeft ook zijn eigen terras met uitzicht toch de nodige privacy.

Niets op aan te merken. Is fantastisch als je naar Vieste wil en een huurwagen hebt. Heb je geen huurwagen, geen probleem de host verhuurt ook een suite in Vieste centrum met dakterras en geweldig uitzicht over heel de stad.
