Villa Marunnella

What a stunning place to stay and relax for a week. We felt lucky and privileged. Fabulous decor inside and out. Beautiful garden, outdoor seating and outdoor dining areas. Plenty of shade in different parts of the garden at different times of day, Heavenly lying reading a book on the day bed under the shade of the lemon trees. Comfy bed and pillows and quiet, so good nights sleep. Very good air con in the bedrooms. Stunning views from bedrooms and fabulous sunset skies and sunrises from the roof. Kitchen facilities were great- I love cooking and many self catering places let us down- this didnt. Great communication with hosts and speedy replies and support when needed. Fresh towels halfway through our stay. Great to have the washing machine Fantastic Deli/shop/cafe just a short walk from the villa- recommend (Cafe Moressa) Praiano is wonderfully peaceful- a great place to relax after the busyness of the rest of the Amalfi coast

There was no ironing board- but Giannmarie was able to provide one within no time of us asking. Thank you. Noisy extractor fan linked with the oven and no way of switching it off when using the oven. We therefore didnt use the oven much. Shower tray didnt drain well- Giannmarie tried to sort it but may need a plumber to take a look as temporary fix didnt work for long. Shower cubicles are a bit small- if you are on the larger size it may be tight. Lots of steps+++ in Praiano, including down to and up from the beach. We were fine with it. But would be tricky for some.

Most things

Maybe some stairs

The location and amenities of Villa Marunnella are outstanding. The unit is very clean and Giannmaria offers great service. Overall an excellent experience.

Nothing.

It felt like our own home on the beautiful amalfi coast. Perfectly decorated, all the details to make your stay more comfortable and great location with minimal stairs in comparison to most places in amalfi!
