Chic Bondi Beach Pad

Appartement agréable dans une copropriété proche de la plage de Bondi. Noter la proximité de la ligne de bus 333 pour rejoindre facilement le centre de Sydney. L’environnement est assez calme.

The location of this flat is amazing! Literally across the road from the North Bondi weekend markets, about a 5 minute walk to the north end of Bondi beach itself and about 7 minutes walk from the main drag of Bondi. It's a good sized flat in an older building but really nicely modernised - with one double bedroom, a second bedroom with 2 double beds and a sunroom, which I suspect has a sofa-bed (didn't check though). The lounge was a good size, but would be a bit cosy if there were 6 or more people staying. Hosts were very informative and helpful, keys easy to find. Very clean, especially the bathroom. Useful having a laundry on hand. The kitchen was one of the best-equipped ones I've come across in a short-term rental - loads of crockery and cooking equipment - not that we cooked much.... We stayed in Bondi mainly as our daughter is mad about the beach - would happily stay there for a general Sydney stay as well though, as the public transport options from close by are also excellent.

The only issue was that the air-con unit is in the kitchen, which meant the kitchen was a bit cold when the rest of the flat was a bit hotter than I would normally like. The ceiling fans helped though, so sleeping was still possible. Ideally, a couple of power points could have USB outlets - but that's mostly on us as we forgot to bring enough adapters ourselves!

Absolutely lovely apartment. The location was perfect and the apartment had all necessary amenities. Claudia, the host, was responsive and very accommodating to our party, which included a baby and a dog!
