Bakan - Sainte Catherine

Location was amazing, the staff was very on time with communication, you'll receive response within the hour.

Food Flies in the unit. I have made a complaint about it.

The location was very good. Downtown and near several subway stations. Restaurants and convenience stores close by. The instructions to access the apartment were clear. The apartment had basic amenities and was clean and spacious.

The 2 bedroom does not have a door on both bedrooms. I had seen this in some other reviews and wrote in with this question to the location in advance. They told me that both bedrooms did have doors but that was not true. The bedroom towards the front does not have a door at all. As many other reviewers have mentioned there is definitely construction going on and they definitely start at 6:30am 6 days a week. Only Sunday had no construction noise. Obviously that is not the fault of the property, just something to be aware of.

The location was great. Central, can walk to many areas of the city.

Both the building common areas and the unit were dirty. Starting with the entrance way. Layers of dirt and dust on every surface. The filth on the carpet runner was disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The same can be said for the carpet mat in the elevator. In the unit again, every horizontal surface (other then the counters) were very dusty. Dirt, dust and garbage were under the beds. There is an area rug by the sofa bed that is old and dirty. By hand we pulled up a hand full of hair from a small area of the carpet. The carpet is old and the edges are curling up. I have photos and video of this.

Clean bathroom and kitchen, clean linens

Filthy floors and rug
