We booked this homestay to visit the Naivasha area, based on its good reviews. Once we arrived, we were firstly amazed by both the house and garden. It is a beautiful property, with super-friendly staff, owners and dogs ;) You have your own room and bathroom separate from the house right inside the garden, but can eat inside and access the house and pool. Secondly, the property is located in a private reserve, which basically means that you are surrounded by many of the animals you would go on safari for: zebras, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, warthogs, monkeys, and many more. You can go on a walk yourself on the main road to spot those animals up close (mind the lone buffalo). The food cooked by Alice and colleagues was high quality and high quantity, some of the best we've had in Kenya. The owners eat together with you (if they are around) and advised us on how to visit Crescent Island, arranged a trusted boda boda for us, pushed us to go for the local experience taking a boat from the public beach, and shared a glass of wine with us in the evening. 100% recommendable! The moment we come back to Kenya, we will visit again.

A very pleasant environment, fantastic staff and very tasty local food! I had originally booked for one night but extended my stay. Very comfortable and large rooms, a varanda, heated pool in a serene environment. Zebras, monkeys, giraffes just a few hundred meters away. Strongly recommended!!!
