Place was clean and did not smell bad!
We washed the towels and they smelled like tar and bad bad odor but when they dried they didn't smell like anything. The washer needs to be replaced.

futon was uncomfortable and sunk in, bed is small and low to floor, dining area really not functional, toilet does not flush properly, no ice available in freezer and fridge had shelves taped on doors which we were scared to use, washer was a bit confusing to use as the knob doesn’t work, the weather was not on our side and would have loved to be able to use the fireplace.
