It's very peaceful and relaxing, the sound of bird life and the farm animals was very therapeutic. The little Jack Russell that comes to greet you is an absolute little gem, so well behaved. The fire heater works like a charm and warms up the whole place. The whole place is fenced so it feels like you are in your own little world watching the amazing views from the verandah. The outside bath is a good challenge for someone brave enough to take a dip on a cold winter afternoon. It's not far from Underberg town should you require anything from the shops or to go to a restaurant or two while you are there. There is sufficient cutlery and crockery available in the unit, along with pots and pans etc with a gas stove to utilise as well. The hot water gets very hot, be it for washing dishes or having a shower, so be warned.

The bath outside does require some lights and needs a new coat of enamel paint. Also some more firewood is definitely required for the colder weather. A few minor issues that were brought to the owners attention.

The location and views were stunning.

The outdoor bath was amazing and the view was breathtaking. Loved the stars at night too.

Would have loved some WiFi but that’s not essential
