Good location but inadequate for a family of 4.
The location was good for access to the slopes and the surrounding businesses. The shower was very powerful.
The apartment overall was badly out of date and is in need of an overhaul. Lack of ceiling lights and an unsafe lamp (loose wires hanging out) was the only form of lighting. The bed set up for a family of two adults and two children was inadequate (two very small rooms with a set of bunkbeds in each) which meant that the living space was commandeered as a sleeping space in order to utilise the sofa bed. Not practical with two children Following some confusion about arrival times, the apartment was dirty with dirty bed linen on arrival and even after cleaning had been rectified, sheets for the bed had to be retrieved from a local establishment. Overall, this did not present the best impression on the first day of a family holiday.

Great apartment in the center of Alpe d'Huez
Great location in the center of Alpe d'hues. There are many restaurants and a large supermarket just around the corner. The parking is easy (in summer) and for free. The apartment itself is well equipped and clean, with a nice balcony and beautiful view over de alps. We extended our stay with two days; the owner was very responsive and accommodating.
The apartment feels a bit small and is somewhat outdated: there is one living room/kitchen, a toilet, two bedrooms and a small bathroom. In order to reach the bathroom, you need to go through one of the bedrooms. Bedrooms are basic but OK; we stayed with two persons, it may get crowded when staying with more people.
