Luxury Escapes - Elegant and spacious 1bed with 2 balconies in JLT

Dubai is Dubai, and the location of this apartment can justify it. The apartment located in very organized building, clean, well accommodated apartment with a nice view.

The door open with a phone app, so you must have always the cellphone with enough power charged, everytime I was out for long time i had to walked with a power bank to charge the cellphone

The checking process by the team was fantastic. So much care. Great location and balcony views.

As usual could do with instructions as to how the TV worked !

Good location, it was quiet in the building so I slept well. The apartment has everything you need including an iron and a hair dryer.

The water pressure in the shower was weak.

The location right across the Dubai Marina, the fact there were many markets and restaurants, really medium to poor, but also with adapted prices, the view from the balconies, the metro station very close, although we used metro only 2 times because the taxi in Dubai is very convenient and prompt. We additionally asked for a bed linen and it was offered and 2 more hours for check out.

First of all, I interacted with 3 different gentlemen who only gave instructions for the building rules (the passports checking, the instructions for the mobile application to enter the apartment) instead of solving the real problems encountered and the last 2 gentlemen sent me from one to another. Everything inside is very old, the furniture, the appliances, the broken tiles right from the entrance, the bathrooms with a lot of blowflies. A single set of towels for 8 nights and a single container of 30 ml of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. There is no coffee machine of any kind, not even a kettle. The door to the balcony from the bedroom did not properly seal, we could hear all the street noise, and during the night the room got very cold (we got 12-14 degrees at night). I requested an additional blanket so I wouldn’t wake up with frozen head, but the answer was they didn’t have blankets and they sent me a quilt sheet. We experienced a water leak from the ceiling, luckily we had not left the apartment until then and a fire alarm in the building. Note that there is no luggage storage room if you have an evening flight, we were allowed for 2 more hours for check out, but we still needed 6 hours more, and no further information where we could find a luggage locker around. I found it myself by on-line searching. I will never return and I have no way to recommand this apartment, which has a lot of improvements to make and which is far from the pictures presented.
