Hotel on "ski slope"

Near the ski resort. The food is great. Stuff is ok.

The hotel is overpriced. Sound isolation between rooms is ridiculous. You can hear words of your neighbour, not rumor. Temperature of your room you can adjust between 21 to 23 C, and this is not enough if you are skiing all day. Paying of parking is 5E a day and big free parking is 20m away. Ski cabinet is available till 2pm (24h) for day you pay, and ski resort is open till 4pm.

Beautiful quiet location (short summer stay on the way back from holiday). Nice surroundings inviting for walks with beautiful views. Well equipped and clean rooms and bathroom. Complex hotel facilities with restaurant, games room, ... Rich delicious breakfast.

only the location

we had problem in our room with smell from canalisation, from fecalies. after we and some other guest from the hotel complained about that problem on the reception they very very familiar with the problem and said it is usual problem but they have only available room on the same floor just opposite side . in new room was the same problem because smell was spreading in all hall of that side of the hotel. (room 226) housekeeper was coming to our new room three times to put some chemicals -varicine in the sink but that was even worse because from that strong smell our son had headache and I vomit. they didn’t have any other available room in some other part of the hotel and we had to sleep with window open all night. awful experience. all hotel is smelling on fecalies, in pizza place also, around the hotel outside you can smell it and they are all familiar with the problem but still sell full capacity of hotel and put people in that smelling part of the hotel and charge it. I never experience something like that before. I was feeling sick all evening. after I spoke with some other guest who were in that hotel earlier this year they said they had same problem but they changed room in east Side of the hotel and it was fine. at the time we were there hotel was full and they didn’t have any other room available so we had to stay on the 2floor on west side of the hotel where the smell is strongest. about the food and dinner it was very bed also. breakfast was good.

Great Stay

This is my second time in hotel Enzo Moro. The location, the hotel overall, the room, the staff, breakfast and dinner, were at the same level of quality as the last time. So it is very nice to come back and to have the expectation fullfilled. The last time I just had two notes..the room was a little bit too cold and I couldnt use the kettle, because the cable was too short. I have to praise them, because they fixed it. Great!

Excellent location directly on the ski slope. Very friendly and professional staff Good breakfast. Clean common areas and rooms.

The heating in the room was working at 30 degree. Even the receiver could not set it to a lower temperature. Slow Wifi. Room doors close loudly and wake-up calls at 7:00 a.m. are mandatory.

Nice ski trip

The food was great. We got the full board option and all meals, breakfast, lunch dinner, always different options and all delicious. The bedroom was comfy and warm. The location for a ski trip is super convenient, the slopes are just outside and the views are beautiful. You could spend the full week there and have a great time.

Nothing that would make us not come back. Wifi is pretty bad, but what would you expect at the top of a mountain? haha However, we noted a few points they could improve. Mostly on the vegetarian options on the menu (is not that they dont have it, but sometimes it wasnt in the menu so it was just a matter of ordering a part). It's good to know a bit of italian for this, as I got the impression that they had limited staff speaking english in the restaurant. And the information for first time skiers, like us, could have been better. We didnt know where to rent equipment, buy ski pass, etc. As much as they always answered all questions, it wasn't super clear what to do. We got it all backward in the end. We bought the ski pass, went down to rent the equipments, left our shoes in the equipment store, then you can't enter the hotel with the ski boots (fair)... so it was a bit of misinformation that I feel could have been better explained. So my tip is: buy the storage locker at the hotel front desk, then go down to rent your ski equipments (but do not leave your actual shoes in the store). Go back to the ski room in the hotel and leave your shoes in the locker, and right beside there is the place to buy the pass. I wouldn't buy the pass again for day 1 if you are a beginner. Try in the small slopes first, play around or book a class. Buy the pass for the second day forward. Thats my tip for super beginners like me. But live and learn, we had a fabulous time in the end and would definitely be back.

Ski slope located hotel

Very kind staff, abundant meals (full board), reasonable prices, ski slope entry location, views of the ski slope (superior rooms) with a terrace. Very quiet apart for the New Year's Eve party, which was to be expected. Ski boxes to deposit gear after skiing, restaurant, bar, restaurant/pizzeria and two more restaurants/lodges 10m away. Parking in front of the hotel, kids playroom and kids gaming room, pets very welcome. Staff speak various languages, including Croatian, Slovenian, etc..

This time some difficulties appeared with skibox heating/drying, but it was sorted out by the reception upon claim. I would have prefered some Friulan specialties on the menu at least occasionally, but food was diverse and tasty already.

Very good

we arrived to find junior cycle races were taking place around the hotel with more of the same next day. We were just staying one night to do Zoncolan (i.e. cycle it from the bottom) and then drive home. Due to the many cycle teams staying it was potentially chaotic, but it wasn't due to the very helpful staff. We were leaving before breakfast so they even got us a take away breakfast to eat on the road. There were no issues with storing bikes in the room. The hotel is perfectly situated to do all the cycle climbs on Zoncolan.

I was on the 3rd floor and the view is obscured by the structure. It didn't matter in our case, but it might if you were staying for longer.

Breakfast was very good

The Wi fi didn’t work and when we arrived at the restaurant for dinner we were told they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us. There was no mention when we checked in that we needed to book the restaurant

Couple on motorbike on a trip through Alps, one night stay.

Location (as off ski slopes in front of the hotel, etc.). Friendly staff that cooked dinner for us even after they closed the kitchen at 9PM as we were very hungry. Clean and big rooms and bathrooms. The hotel was very quiet due to lack of other guests

The temperature in our room was 28degrees Celsius and although the staff tried to turn the AC on&reset it, it didnt work. They offered us to swap the rooms but as we were tired after long day, we opted to sleep with open window. Breakfast was bit weak, with not many options ( compared to other hotels we stayed at during our Alps trip), dishes missing, etc.
