Peaceful Mid-Century Escape with Screened Porch & Lake Access

This home is spacious and perfectly located for our visits with our children. We loved watching deer from the screened-in porch, the comfortable master bed, and enjoying the open living area. The quiet neighborhood and nearby walking path were a bonus. It’s such a great space—we’d gladly stay here again.

While the home and decor are lovely, some attention to detail was missing such as basic kitchen supplies - a cloth/ sponge for washing dishes, oven mitts, tinfoil, storage containers/baggies, baking sheets, and coffee filters or k-cups. Additionally, the bathroom rug in the guest bathroom appeared to need cleaning. The floor in the screened-in porch also had a considerable amount of dirt, and the outdoor throw pillow was quite stained. These are small details if addressed, would easily move our rating from an 8 to a 10.

The villa was quaint and cozy. All of the little touches truly made our stay quite memorable.

Very nice well-maintained property. The house was comfortable; I enjoyed seeing the deer in the backyard. I appreciated the enclosed patio while having my morning coffee. The light switches were not intuitive, but I managed.

The light switches were not intuitive, but I managed. I felt for the price the host could have provided coffee and filters at a minimum. And, to be helpful, could have provided information about the coffee maker that was there so I knew I had the choice of bringing K-Cups or coffee and filters. When I asked the customer service folks, they could only tell me that coffee was not part of the starter kit, but a coffee maker was on site. When I have stayed at other ABNBs, the hosts have provided local favorites as a welcome basket and - no welcome here. I chose this place because my daughter lived across the golf course, but because the gate in the back was stationary, I had to drive to my daughter's house around the corner. (The neighbors had a gate).
