Perlablu in Centro

Perfect apartment for few-days stay in Naples! Amazing location- close to the ancient city and the port, with lots of public transport options nearby. Francesco the host was incredibly friendly and even helped us in an emergency right away! He made sure we were provided with everything we needed for a nice and peaceful stay in Perlablu.

The room was nice and the host was very kind and helping, he sent us recommendations of what to see and where to eat. The room is as it is described, proper air conditioning, private bathroom within the room.

The neighborhood seemed dangerous and scary at first, but we never encountered any problems, not even late at night.

Convenient location near the port.

The kitchen equipment should be supplemented with a functional wine opener and a water kettle.

There was no real breakfast, only a few packages of cakes, like Twinkies. No coffee or bottled water was available even though there was a small kitchen with a refrigerator in the common area.

I did not like the location. No Uber available and the Taxi would not pickup at the location. No elevator. For two women traveling alone, I did not feel safe. There was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. The towels were rough as though they had been hung to dry and looked very used. No information was available about the vicinity including restaurant locations. There were two lockboxes with keys and the instructions were sent via text by the host. I do not speak Italian and he knew little English so I found it hard to communicate. The area seems isolated. We did manage to find someone in the alleyway who recommended a restaurant and showed us its location.
