Amazing!!!

Amazing place, cosy and warm - we stayed in February and the weather was freezing, but it was lovely and warm inside! Great cottage with a cosy vibe! We really loved it. Had everything we needed. Comfy beds, space and lots of charm.

We didn't receive any reply to any messages sent via booking.com. which was fine. We got slightly lost on the way and tried calling the number provided - no response, no one called us back, but luckily our stay was trouble free.

Cosy countryside base for our touring children’s show!

Spacious and classy, with excellent kitchen facilities and gorgeous living room. Cosy decor and exceptionally clean.

Heating was a little too hot at times, entrance is a tight squeeze for a van :)

Excellent short break in a cottage with beautiful surroundings.

The property was in an excellent location for visiting Northumberland and the surrounding towns and villages. The property had excellent facilities for our stay. Very spacious both in the property and outside. Interior decor of the cottage was dark. Overall we had a lovely time complemented by gorgeous weather.

The bathroom was a little outdated and the shower difficult to use.

Lovely countryside stay

Great location for us as we were attending a wedding in the same village. Lots of space for everyone and had all the facilities we required as a family.

Well presented accommodation in a lovely location

Lovely place in a really nice location. The Granary is very well kitted out and is in a quiet, semi rural location, which is great for watching wildlife and relaxing. The house had a wonderful, sheltered courtyard garden where you could watch the aerial antics of the swallows above, and the interior of the house was very well specified and had everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole house was very clean on arrival. For convenience, Morpeth is only 10 mins drive away and has a wide range of shops; restaurants and bars.

My only recommendation for improvement is that Booking.com could do with providing clearer address instructions / directions as all we had was 'The Granary, Longhirst ' and a postcode that covers a fairly wide area. The property is actually part of Barnacre Holiday properties, which you can find on Google Maps. I wouldn't recommend the property for elderly people/ those with mobility issues due to a small set of steep, wooden stairs leading to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Great place to stay for families

Lovely location, and lots of space within the accommodation. Spotlessly clean with a great kitchen and living room. Very comfortable beds. Lots of storage space in the bedrooms for clothes. Wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful house, will definitely be booking again.

Such a beautiful property, on beautiful land. Easy to get too, ( we are very familiar with the area as my mum was born there ) however even if you are unfamiliar, easy directions and easy to locate.
