Very comfortable apartment

We were not given the complete pin number for the lock box and as we arrived about 4.30 pm were after hours. Finally managed to speak to someone who questioned that we had been given the pin number. However once reconfirming the full pin number was incomplete we finally were able to retrieve our keys. Having 4 different driveways to work out which one was for the apartment was frustrating. Not well sign posted. Had to use the official Alpine Resort Reception area to use as the taxi pick up point as no-one would know where to come from the actual driveway for our apartment.

Kitchen was really well equipped & there was lots of space inside with your own private outdoor area.

No kitchen sink plug to wash up & the main bed needs replacing . It was like a spongy trampoline & 2 people just rolled together in the middle. Not acceptable for the price.

Good apartment set up, had everything we needed, and the pool was GREAT! Would be happy to stay here again if the minor negatives were updated, as for Wanaka and over a busy weekend it was decent value for money, split between 4 people for a two bedroom apartment.

Getting the keys were the easy part, actually getting into the place to park was confusing! The instructions were not great, it said to take two right hand turns, when actually if you plug in the address given into Google (like we did) you actually then want to take two LEFT hand turns. That made it a tad tricky at 11pm at night..... Also, the level of cleanliness was not great, we vacuumed and it appears the vacuum was bung, which might have been why it wasn't done prior to our arrival - for the cost we are paying, we'd expect this to be good. Also very weird that they asked us to remove our own rubbish, I'd once again expect when paying for accommodation, this is sorted by the cleaners. We made this easy by having things in bags ready for disposal, but legit we are paying for cleaners to do this, not us.

Clean and modern apartment with everything you need, very nice place to stay at. Flat is next to the pool so you might here some kids, but with the windows closed not an issue.

Despite the flawless property and our lovely stay here, one has to mention the terrible host that is BCR Rentals (managing the property on behalf of the real owner). These guys got their systems hacked between the booking and our stay - I was contacted both via Booking-chat as well as WhatsApp and asked to pay the booking (which had already happened upon booking) by the hackers. I reached out to the Booking-support, that pretty fast clarified that I already had paid and this was a scam attempt. After reaching out to the host BCR Rentals, I was informed that they indeed go hacked - and only after I highlighted how terrifying it is, not knowing which of my personal data incl. credit card details might have been stolen by the hackers, I got a senseless ChatGPT excuse. That just felt not right. I might have just accepted this fact and not written a review, but the constant spam of messages of BCR rentals before and during my stay made me write this. They sent multiple (!) messages on Booking, mail and WhatsApp even, trying to get me to book activities, trips and so on with their Personal Travel Assistant. I am sure I never agreed to being contacted in that way and for that reasons. Considering the BCR rentals team being hacked and the scam attempt earlier without a proper sorry, this was just too much.
