Kacchapa Resort and Restaurant

Kacchapa is a great spot for a relaxing holiday and surfing. The staff here are amazing, caring people. Pool is great and the view is amazing. Accommodated for a birthday we had with a lovely crème brûlée. Breakfast is tasty with many options. Eka and his whole team are the best and great hosts. Will hopefully return in the near future. Also the bar staff make yummy daiquiris. 😁

Amazing view from the restaurant to the bay. Friendly cleaning and reception staff, spacious bungalow (muche better room than delux), big parking. WiFi is OK for Sumbawa.

Staff is not trained enough. Cleaning does. not refill the water, there were no hangers in the room when we checked in (had to ask), some rooms have glasses for water some don't. But the biggest downside is the restaurant. The staff there is not trained at all. The food is overprices and often cooked not well. Often they bring not well done chicken or fish, almost everytime they forget to cook and bring ordered food. Sometime they even charge but don't cook anyway. The taste of the food for lunch and dinner varied between average and uneatable. Breakfastes were good when they dod not forget to make them (you have to order, there is no open buffet). The hotel knew the problem and even brought a manager from Bali to resove the situation with bad service. One evening, after waiting for one hour and finding out that they forgot our order we complained and this manager reprimended the staff, appologized for the situation and did not charge us for the forgotten food. We thought it would help for a while but the next morning some of our breaksaft orders were forgotten again. We'd give 4/5 for the hotel and 1/5 for thу overpriced and super low service restaurant and we recommend at least to cancel service charge in the resyaurant bills and let the staff earn tips for a good service rather than get tips anyway.

Location is insane. Right on the beach with an awesome pool and restaurant overlooking the beach. The common areas felt clean and nice. Our room unfortunately wasnt the best. The bathroom left much to be desired. Could use a deep cleaning and had a rough smell. Definitely needs new pillows ours were dusty. Value for the money, it’s great but expect what you pay for.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty and smelly, bed was very hard and pillows were dirty. Overall not terrible but would stay elsewhere next time.

Restaurant.. a lot of the food on the menu and juices they didn’t have.. and they ran out of Bintang..other than that the room was good and the staff..
