Chez Yaya - Grande Chambre

Rooms with powerful fans & delightful cold showers, on grounds with comfy hammocks under the shade of prosperous palm trees. It’s the perfect balance of wild nature and contemporary cleanliness. The half hour walk into the town centre is very easy. Justine’s cooking is unparalleled and Yannick made me feel at home.

Emplacement parfait pour se rendre au centre-ville à pied ou moto taxi (super agréable). L'espace chez Yaya est arboré et fleuri. La grande chambre est confortable avec une petite terrasse à l'extérieur. Yaya répond à toutes vos questions d'organisation ou d'activités. Pauline, cuisine à merveille le poisson. J'ai adoré cet endroit et la ville d'Oussouye pour faire de belles balades à pied. Nous regrettons de ne pas y avoir passé plus de temps. Un boulanger à proximité confectionne de bonnes brioches et croissants.

We really enjoyed staying with Yaya and were quite sad to move on after 3 days. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the communal areas (dining area, Kitchen) also clean and we especially enjoyed chatting with Yaya and other guests over dinner and into the evenings. The property is in a quiet location and has lovely gardens. Yaya was able to arrange amazing and reasonably priced tours of local villages, kayaking, pirogue trips etc with no difficulty. A special mention of Pauline the cook who prepared some of the best dinners we had in the whole of our trip to Senegal.
