B&B Sud e Magia

We found a charming unit in the heart of the village of Castelmezzano. The apartment was clean, the view was stunning, and the location was excellent—close to a supermarket, restaurants, and cafes. It is near the main square, so you can drive right up to drop off your luggage before heading off to find parking. The owners stayed in touch via WhatsApp and sent detailed arrival and parking instructions, complete with photos. Throughout our stay, they checked in on us and took care of everything we requested. We dined at the owners' restaurant—it was excellent! A truly authentic Italian meal. The kitchen is equipped with plates, glasses, cutlery, bowls, a fridge, and a kettle, and the owners left bottles of water, cookies, and sweets Fortunately, we stayed for two nights, so we had plenty of time to enjoy both the apartment and the village.

We loved everything! It is important to remember that although the apartment has a stovetop, cooking is not allowed, and there are no pots or pans. There is a shortage of power outlets, though there is a USB port next to the bed.

Ottima posizione, personale gentile e accogliente

Nulla in particolare

It is a very comfortable, clean and fairly spacious apartment, suitable for a multi day stay, for instance for a couple that intended to hike some of the many trails in the district. It directly on one of the main routes though Castelmezzano. It is an uphill walk on cobbled streets of maybe 300m from the hosts private car park, but it isn’t that steep and there are no staircases. The breakfast provided was adequate, but not great.

The property was great but we had an unfortunate incident. Overnight our car was hit by another car, which the owner told us, was driven by one of his children. He promised to phone our rental car company and provide his insurance information, but when we returned the rental car several days later it did not seem that this had happened, so we have been left to deal with the fallout.
