Die Angabe zur Strandnähe bezieht sich auf die Luftlinienentfernung. Die tatsächliche Entfernung über Straße und Wanderweg beträgt ca. 2 km bei 170 Höhenmeter. Der Wiederaufstieg ist ambitioniert. Mit dem Auto natürlich kein Thema.

It was just perfect - spacious, well equipped and comfortable, just what is required for a relaxing stay.

From the onset, correspondence with Karen was superb, informative and helpful. She and her husband, Kostas, met us at Patitiri port and transferred us to the apartment, which is located exactly as described at the entrance to Alonissos Chora within a couple of steps to the bakery and a convenience store. Kostas also transferred us back to the port on our day of departure. We will always remember his and Karen’s kindness. The apartment is absolutely lovely, fully equipped with modern kitchen and much needed air conditioning in the bedroom. It was very comfortable inside and out. There’s a big terrace with stunning views across the back of the village and out to sea; and also a balcony opening onto the main street. This means it was always possible to access either shade or sun depending on the time of day. Alonissos Chora itself is delightful with some great places to eat as well as a few cafe / bars that are quite different in character from each other. We enjoyed staying there enormously whilst also exploring the rest of the island. It’s definitely worth hiring transport of some sort to really get to know the island, which is dramatic and absolutely beautiful. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.
