Chalet Blue Mountain 3BR & 3BTH Walk-in to Village

We liked it was close.tonthe village. Big property! Lots of beds

When we arrived at the location. We couldn't get into our parking there was a sky boom in our spot. No communication about thie prior to our arrival that was disappointing. The communication between me and the booking people was sub par we asked for a early check-in in months inadvacne and we had no communication. Day of they said no problem but that didn't help with planning. The sheets on some of the beds had stains and we had questions if they where clean. The floor was damaged upon arrival a d cause some of the lady's to trip One light bulb was hanging on for dear life. Was kind of scary. The heat was left on in the unit causing it to be warm and uncomfortable. Air was off and didn't come on most of the stay.

The chalet was perfect for our family and we had a good time outside and inside the house.

The AC was too strong and impossible to manage inside the bathroom for instance so very cold. The property furniture is a bit old and need a refresh according to me. More lights outside as it was very dark after sunset. The pool was pretty old and need to be refurbished or repaired as it can be dangerous when you’re inside and stepping.

The house itself was nice. It is very close to the Blue Mountain village (5 min walk)

The communication and treatment from the host. The properly listed a heated pool as one of the amenities. Unfortunately the gate to the pool was closed. I informed the host and first I was told I was wrong (which I wasn't - the hosts then admitted it), I had to find out the number of the property management myself to try to get it sorted out. I was told by them the pool would not open for another couple of weeks. Additionally, BBQ facilities were listed, but no propane was left at the property to use the BBQ, and the garden table was broken (a leg was missing). Despite these issues, the host insisted there was nothing wrong. I had to contact Booking.com for support to receive a partial refund. Had the host tried to help, none of this would have been an actual issue, but the host's attitude made the experience regrettable.

We stayed here over the weekend with family and had a moderate overall experience. The property was generally clean, well-equipped, and in a nice location. However, there were several areas that need improvement.

The pool was not clean, which was disappointing for the whole family — especially the kids who were really looking forward to using it. We also noticed some spiders on the walls and encountered large flies in one of the bedrooms, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. In terms of upkeep, the place could benefit from some maintenance. Several window blinds were either missing or not functioning properly, affecting both privacy and comfort. These small but noticeable issues impacted the overall quality of the stay. While the space is functional and has potential, I wouldn’t describe it as a luxurious stay. With better maintenance and more attention to cleanliness, this property could provide a much more enjoyable experience
