Tres Vides Hotel Boutique

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Magda, the owner, who was incredibly kind and hospitable. She showed us to our private little cabin and offered us a lovely dinner of pizza, cheese, and wine. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and hot water. The bed was very comfortable, and the views of the sunset and the valley were absolutely beautiful. Despite the other cabins being occupied, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, with no noise from other guests. In the morning, we were also treated to freshly baked rosemary scones and coffee, which were absolutely delicious and a wonderful touch! We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Magda’s warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the road leading to the property, which is unpaved and can become a bit rough, especially after rain. However, this didn’t take away from our overall experience or the beauty of the place.

Loved staying here, and we’d stay again. Very clean, central location to all the wineries and restaurants, and very friendly staff. The bathroom is always important to me - this one was great (clean, nice water pressure and temp). Peaceful and gorgeous property with the prettiest bougainvillea.

The price is extremely high for what the property offers. The vineyards amount to little more than a small, purely decorative strip; part of the room’s view overlooks a neighbour’s tarpaulin and an arch bearing the property’s logo. I was staying alone and, when I mentioned that I would be getting up early, around 7:00–7:30 a.m., I was informed that breakfast (only coffee and scones) would only be available at 8:30 a.m. It is difficult to understand why breakfast could not be made available earlier, given that there were no other guests. They also offered a dinner for 1,000 MXN — a bottle of wine, pizza (?) and a sharing board — which I consider excessively expensive for what was provided. A complete flop.
