Das Appartement entspricht genau den Fotos, die Lage recht zentral. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Die zwei verschiedenen, in die Jahre gekommenen Beach Chairs wurden vom Team von Casiola (grosses Lob) sofort gegen neue Stühle getauscht. Schön war es, ein BBQ Grill zu haben. Die Hollywood-Schaukel war toll! Und auch die Outdoor Dusche ist großartig!

Es gab leider keine Möglichkeit, lange Kleider in den Kleiderschrank zu hängen, das Schlafzimmer ist recht beengt und auf das Bett muss man klettern. Schön wären auch Nachttischlampen gewesen. Die Stromanschlüsse hinter der Couch funktionierten nicht. Der Beach Cooler könnte mal ersetzt werden. Die Straße ist ein wenig laut. Meine rein persönliche Empfindung: das viele dunkelbraune Holz der überdachten Veranda fühlt sich mit der Zeit bedrückend an. Und: es ist gut gemeint, den Tisch für ein drei Gänge Menü einzudecken, aber wenn man erstmals in ein Appartment kommt, braucht man erstmal Platz, um seine Sachen auf dem Tisch abzustellen.

This was our third stay at Boroncana 8-E, and we continue to love it. The location is excellent, with many of the places we like to visit on the island within a short walk, and the others just a short drive away. The property has everything you need for cooking and grilling, along with chairs and a cooler to take with you while exploring the island. The patio is mostly walled off and covered, with a pull-down screen, making it a great space for relaxing, napping, or grilling while enjoying some privacy. Overall, the property is comfortable, well-equipped, conveniently located, and provides everything you could need for an enjoyable stay on the island.

Do bring something for mosquitoes. We normally bring an all-natural spray and candles. This isn’t just for this property, but for areas along the coast in general. Typically, the high wind helps keep mosquitoes at bay, but if you are in a spot that is sheltered from the wind and tend to attract them, you’ll want a spray. The patio area is a nice place to take a nap or grill and really extends the living space. (We left Murphy’s all-natural candle on the table.)
