The property was beautiful. It was well stocked and super cozy. It was close to everything while still feeling removed.
We tried to move our dates because of the ice storm that was coming in. There was no ice in the forecast when our reservations were made. I was told by a staff member with North Georgia Rentals, LLC that they could not accommodate my request and that was what I got for booking a cabin in North Georgia in January and we should have known that. We understood that it was nonrefundable, but this ice storm was not anything that could’ve been predicted, and we were hoping that they would allow us to alter our dates due to the inclement weather and the road closures. We were told if we lost power they may be able to refund some of our money, but we didn’t get to stay long enough to see if that happened. My husband is a first responder, so we had to leave a day early so we could safely get home because he had to be home to support our county. We got up the next morning at home and looked at the news and there were over 2400 power outages in that area. Needless say we are very disappointed with the service from the rental company. Their lack of empathy for a situation that was out of the ordinary, and the way they conducted themselves in conversation was terrible. Not to mention that after we spoke about moving our dates, they stopped responding to any of my questions that we had about the property before we got there. The house was a dream, I would love to book there again if it was managed under a different company.
