Sip and Soak Up Summer in the Hunter

No central air-conditioning. In summertime, that would be boiling in the living room, dining room, and open kitchen with one portable fan. There are rooms that have an old style fan, which is attached to the ceiling. Turned to the highest power, but it was still not cool enough. It also had a bit of noise during the turning. That would be an issue for someone who is a light sleeper.

This is a lovely clean bright house. A great position for the wineries. Toiletries provided in the bathrooms. An extremely well stocked kitchen and very warm comfy beds. The air keeper team are very easy to talk to and get back to you within an hour.

I'm not sure I can say I didn't like anything. Some of the taps were labelled incorrectly but once we worked that out all was great

We liked the location of the property, it took us less than 10-15 mins to reach a lot of vineyards. The home has been furnished beautifully and I love that there are fruit trees and herbs in the garden.

While the home looked beautiful, the bones of the property are old. The frame of the cupboards are old even though they hid it behind mirrors. None of us felt comfortable to unpack our clothes into them, but instead used our clothes out of our suitcases. One toilet is heated, and the other toilet is unheated, off the laundry room. So one toilet saw a lot more use than the other. That said, the thing we had an issue with, is that due to the cold spell when we visited, we needed all the heaters in all the rooms in the evenings and mornings. We also cooked twice and did laundry during our stay. The house could not handle the electrical requirements of the home and the new extension, and we found ourselves having to make a cold trudge outside of the house to reset the power meter. The property is being very well managed, with answers to messages almost instantaneously. However, it is absolutely unacceptable that we have to put coats over our pajamas and go hunting for the power box at night, and then try to find the magic arrangement of appliances we can turn on without tripping it again, when we're on holiday. We experienced this problem a total of 6 times during our stay of 5 nights. This was a house built and wired for an older time.
