Second stay at this property. Easy to locate, great quiet location. Property finished to a very nice standard with comfortable bed/sofa. Everything you need for a stay. Feels very safe and secure. Really helpful and friendly host. Will definitely stay again.

Property inside great - needs wi-fi and outside area attending

Inside was great - lovely decor and comfortable. Jo was lovely and responsive.

THERE WAS NO WI-FI ALL STAY! Although it was constantly promised but did not happen, but I noticed other guests said similar. No Smart tv either! All paid for in the price. BBQ and outside area was not clean to use so we cleaned it and Jo did finish cleaning the ground area. The barbecue did not work as it was set up wrong on arrival. We had to cook the food on the cooker. It was not a good start.

Very clean, well appointed with quality furniture and fittings. Very comfy generous sofa wirh plenty of room for all guests - there's nothing worse than a place that sleeps 4 or 6 but only provides a cheap two seater sofa! Its a real bugbear for me but there were no worries about that here - the sofa is roomy and comfy enough to sleep on. Beds were very soft and comfortable - everyone slept well. 2 en-suites and a spare loo. Everything worked beautifully. There was fresh milk in the fridge for us, tea, coffee plus a nespresso machine. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Its a lovely quiet spot yet 2 mins drive from the small village which has a co-op, pub and Indian. We ate in the Indian and it was a perfectly good meal with very friendly and welcoming service. We also loved Monkey the black cat who was super friendly and cute x Thoroughly recommend and will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

I couldn't seem to find the cottage Netflix account on the bedroom tv but this had no impact on our stay or enjoyment

Tranquil & relaxing family weekend break on some beautiful grounds

Property grounds were peaceful, secure & private. Cottage was so spacious- loads of room & nice big family sofa to watch TV on. Bed in main room really comfy, I slept so well The cats visited us on our first evening Really clean & totally relaxing accommodation

WiFi wasn’t very consistent so was hard to watch any streamed tv Maybe a few more glasses & mugs would be handy

Lovely property in a good location for exploring the area.

Very comfortable with air con which was much appreciated in the hot weather. All the things you need for a self catering stay. Plenty of storage space in the big room. Lots of communal space too. Have already booked the property for another short stay and the host was able to accommodate an early check in for us. Very good, quick communication from the host to assist us making our plans.

Great cottage for two couples in peaceful location.

Having two ensuite bathrooms was great. The cottage was very spacious. The location was great - both in itself and for our particular requirements - we were attending a wedding in Stowmarket and it was very convenient for this. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. We liked the non-intrusive approach, whilst it was reassuring to know they were on hand if the need arose - the ideal combination.

We found ourselves unable to lock the back door on the first night, despite our best efforts. We called the owner the following morning, and she came over and explained how very stiff the lock is and showed us the necessary 'knack'. Although quite luxurious in many ways,we felt that a few basics were missing - a serrated bread knife, place mats to protect the glass table, sockets near enough to a mirror to be able to dry one's hair whilst using a mirror. The plates etc were lovely but the addition of a few more would be appreciated - having put the dishwasher on late morning, when it came to lunchtime, we didn't have a spare set of dinner plates ti use for our lunch! Likewise mugs....

Superb

Brilliant place, the location feels very secure and is genuinely beautiful. Close enough to local towns but also feels out of the way & private when you're at the cottage itself. The decor is very sleek and clean and easy instructions are provided for all the essentials (wifi, bins, etc). The host was friendly, communicative and answered all our questions promptly. Having private access to the garden with the pod was a cute bonus addition as well

The smell from the boiler was sometimes quite strong when standing at the fridge end of the kitchen/by the back door. However the 2 people staying with me couldn't smell it very much and opening a kitchen window solved it, so unless you have a very sensitive nose you likely wont even notice it

TV reception cuts out sometimes and not much in terms of welcome info. The small bunk beds in the 2nd room are ok for small children, but may be a bit limiting for some guests
