Good experience

The hosting family were very friendly, accommodating and very helpful.. The place was kept clean.I would definitely come back again. My daughter loved it. It was a breath of fresh air to get a view of the sea at any given time .

We found the room quite small , also because we had quite a lot of luggage. It would have been better if the room was slightly more spacious.

It was fine. Very nice host, but the facility is lacking.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Had our own seperate set of keys so we could come and go as we pleased which was convenient.

The house was neat but sharing ammenities like the bathroom meant it did not stay clean. There was a slight odor but that might just be because the house is very old.

The b&b is really a home stay. It feels like staying in a friends home. I was very happy.

It was more than expected. Our host Maria was so kind and helpful. It was spotless (the cleanest place I’ve stayed in to date, we stayed in a luxury villa in Camps Bay last year and this surpassed that stay in terms of cleanliness and hosting). There was lots of cupboard space. Maria prepared a tray in the kitchen ready for the morning with mugs, coffee / tea, sugar and a tin of biscuits. She wasn’t intrusive but was present if needed.

I was unsure of sharing a bathroom, however, I was never inconvenienced by it being occupied despite their being other guests. Plus there was an additional toilet and hand basin so if one hadn’t been available the other would be free. The hosts have their own bathroom too.

A Cozy Stay with Grandparent Vibes and Stunning Views

I had such a lovely stay here! The accommodation is super nice and cozy, with absolutely fabulous views that make you feel at peace instantly. The hosts are an elderly couple (very old), but incredibly kind and welcoming. They reminded me so much of my own grandparents, and staying with them felt like being wrapped in gentle care. Maria, one of the hosts, always made sure I had a warm cup of tea in my hands, which I found so sweet and comforting. You get access to the fridge, which is convenient, but just note that the kitchen itself isn’t included. That said, it really doesn’t take away from how great the place is. If you ever visit, please be kind and considerate to them, they truly deserve all the help and respect in the world. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful, and filled with warmth. Ps : bring mosquitoes spray hahaha

False advertising. Was extremely dissapointed.

Not as advertised. Maria was not expecting us but I had a printout of our dates from booking .com. She told us to go to the beach and come later. Showed us the room. Terrible. A d then we were expected to share a bathroom with another guest. We could only have the double room for 1 night. This is not an apartment but 1 room In a house . Owners live in it. Cooking smells. Bathroom not up to standard. At all!! We had paid booking. Com. Maria said it was not enough. We left and did not take up the accommodation. Please don’t go here. We were left late afternoon scrambling for accommodation.

Fantastic location and views

It can only be called a backpackers. You stay in rooms in someone’s house and kitchen,bathroom and toilets are shared. The house is old and the bed in the one room is small and very uncomfortable. For students this might be ok but not for adults on holiday.

Awful

The property is beautiful but the facilities are not adequate. It feels like you intruding on pensioners home. Just 1 towel for my husband daughter and I no blankets. It was really out dated and uncomfortable. 5 bedroom 1 bathroom and toilet in the place. No television and I paid R1200 for the night I left the next morning without bathing it was that uncomfortable

Lovely stay😊. Gracious hosts. Ms Maria and her husband are wonderful. Fabulous views from outside, peaceful with garden. Easy drive to beach, restaurants and shops. Home feels. I'll go back any day. Wishing the hosts all my best, blessings and much love 🌹🌹🌹🌹

Quiet, away from the noise with great sunsets fromnthe stoop.

The hosts are just so sweet and helpful. Real down to earth people, not like pretentious fake hotel staff. Uber gave me issues with payment and the host kindly gave me cash to pay the driver untill I could withdraw money the next day. It really is like staying with Ouma & Oupa😊A home away from home. Great value at this rate👍1 Block away from the feet of the Apostles. Close to hiking routes.

Wifi reception in my room was not avail. Carpet flooring a bit dated could give people with allergies and asthma discomfort
