Poor customer service

I didn't stay at Suffield Lodge as was moved to a different apartment on the day - quiet location, near town centre and train station, convenient parking

My only issue has been with the owner - despite repeated requests for an invoice this has been ignored. Booking.com stated that this is a breach of contract but still no invoice. Really disappointed as I have a new client in High Wycombe and was looking for a regular base, but if there's no invoice I can't reclaim the expenses from my company which puts me personally out of pocket. I expect better service

Nice flat, if you don't mind chasing after your deposit for weeks

The flat was fine in and of itself. It was comfortable, clean and it had all the facilities we needed.

The day before arriving I got a message saying that the flat I had booked had suffered a water leak and we had been relocated to another flat. This isn't a huge issue, but I had booked the other flat for that specific location. What is worse though... The owner asks for a deposit, which is supposed to get refunded the day after the stay. However, I only got it back 2,5 weeks later, and only because we (my boyfriend and I) kept asking for it. The owner first told us he had done it just after the visit, and that I should figure it out with the bank. As it turned out, he hadn't. Poor communication all in all...

Total disappointment!!!

Well, first time in my travel history that a serviced apartment has not kept hand wash not even in the toilet. No shampoo no body wash in the bathroom. No coffee sachets no tea bags kept for a courtesy. When we asked for the location the postcode shared took us to a different location. We spent a good 30 minutes to find the property in the middle of the night. We tried to reach the owner but no response at all and not even in the next day the call was returned for a courtesy. When we tried to call in the morning to ask whether the extra toiletries are kept anywhere, still the owners never answered the phone. They charged damage deposit of 100 pounds and they did not pay that no sooner we vacated the property. I had to remind them few times and only 10 days later they refunded. Very bad management. We stayed in a property at Berlin for 2 nights, and we paid 300 Euros as refundable deposit. The moment we vacated they credited the money after deducting for the consumables. I never had to go after them reminding.

Nice one bedroom apartment close to high street with helpful host!

Location was excellent - it was walking distance from to the high street and parks. The place was comfortable with a big bathroom.

Nothing we didn’t like - just be sure to go through the right entrance - or you will end up in a maze.

Great little apartment

We ended up staying in a different apartment to the one booked as the owner advised this one has been damaged by previous renters. The communication was excellent & the apartment We stayed in no different to that we booked other than a different postcode. Very central for the town centre & nice park at bottom of road for walks. Clean, tidy & well equipped. Couldn't fault it.

Only one thing missing was a clothes horse to dry towels on after shower but thats being really picky!

Good location, clean and warm apartment. Very comfortable bed. Pretty everything you need available in the apartment, kitchen well equipped. Perfect for a lovely break!

A bit noisy as on ground floor facing main street... but obviously if you are tired after wandering around, no problem.

The location was excellent for our access to Garsington Opera. The apartment was easy to access, in excellent condition and with safe parking.

The property was generally well furnished but a little Spartan. Would benefit from a “homely” touch - side tables by the sofa, bigger bedside chests that would hold clothes, definitely a small microwave and better cutlery, maybe more cushions on the sofa and coasters for the coffee table.

The flat itself is good but ignore of request of returning deposit is awful.

I have contacted for returning deposit several times and not heard anything from them. A month later they still owe me the deposit. I am sure that we take very good care of the flat.

La experiencia fue muy buena. Hay que indicar que el día de antes el anfitrión nos informó que nos tenía que cambiar de alojamiento en distinta ubicación por problemas técnicos. Esta ubicación era buena también. El alojamiento asignado era excelente. Muy nuevo y moderno. Equipamiento y electrodomesticos de muy buena calidad y nuevos. El edificio tipico inglés, reformado y muy tranquilo. El anfitrión muy amable, nos permitió hacer check in antes u check out unas horas mas tarde.
