Villa Gemma mare e piscina riscaldata

Atrašanās vieta bija ļoti labi, klusa tiešā tuvumā pie jūras. Baseins bija izcils, silts, tīrs. Guļamistabas ērtas, klusas, aprīkotas ar gaisa kondicionēšanu. Atsevišķa āra virtuve un gāzes grils dārzā ļāva izpausties kulinārijas meistariem uz 100%.

Met onze familie van elf personen, waaronder vier kinderen en twee senioren, hebben wij negen nachten verbleven in Villa Gemma Mare. Wat hebben we genoten met elkaar! We hadden vier slaapkamers met eigen badkamers tot onze beschikking en de kinderen sliepen met elkaar in een deel van de woonruimte dat omgebouwd kon worden tot extra slaapkamer. De tuin is echt ongelooflijk groot en fijn. Naast een heerlijk zwembad was er een trampoline, tafeltennistafel, voetbaltafel en waren er talloze mogelijkheden om lekker te zitten of liggen, zowel in de zon als in de schaduw. De tuin bevatte eveneens een BBQ, extra toilet en douchemogelijkheden en een tweede keuken in een aparte binnenruimte met o.a. een pizza-oven waar we heerlijke pizza’s hebben gebakken. Ook konden we hier lekker met elkaar zitten wanneer het op de veranda ‘s avonds wat te fris was om buiten te eten. De accommodatie ligt op loopafstand van het strand, verder heb je echt een huurauto nodig om de omgeving te verkennen of uitgebreid boodschappen te doen, maar het huis bevat echt alles voor een heerlijk verblijf. Wanneer we vragen hadden over de accommodatie, hadden we Whatsapp contact met Lorena. Ze beantwoordde onze vragen vriendelijk en snel. We komen heel graag nog eens terug bij deze mooie villa!

Het enige nadeel vonden wij dat er soms niet genoeg warm water was om achter elkaar warm te kunnen douchen.

We were two families with kids between 10 and 14. We had a great time. The best for a families with kids is definitely the outside area with the large heated pool, table tennis and table football. Also the bedrooms are very nicely designed and equipped, each with an own bathroom. The dining room in the house is rather small, but big enough. Very great is the outside grill area and another small house with a dining room and kitchen. We enjoyed it very much. A big advantage is also the vicinity to the beach (just 300 meters away). It is perfect for jogging and also the kids love it. And the great cities of Syracuse, Noto and Modica are nearby. Overall, a great place to stay there with two families.

The villa is beautiful, very well-maintained, and has excellent outdoor facilities. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, outdoor showers, trampoline, foosball, and ping-pong table. There is also plenty of parking space for several cars. The house features 4 lovely double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, which was very convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a microwave, blender, coffee maker, and even essentials like oil and salt. A special mention to the staff: the person in charge was very kind and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. Using the heat pumps in each room also kept the house comfortably warm during our winter visit.

There are a few important details that weren't clear on the listing: - Capacity for 11 people: The interior layout is not ideal for 11 guests. There are only 4 double bedrooms; the other 3 people have to sleep in the living room on a double and a single sofa bed. Also, the indoor dining table is too small and doesn't have enough chairs for 11 people to sit together. - Hidden costs: The listing states the heated pool is included, but in reality, there is an extra charge of 250 euros to use it. - Hot water/Heating: In winter, the boiler alone isn't enough to provide both heating and hot water for 11 showers, so we had to rely on the AC units for warmth.
