Secluded location with gorgeous views. Beautiful high end smart house. Lovely little town at the bottom of the mountain with shops and restaurants. Owners were brilliant at responding to some issues even if the rental company were less friendly when problems were reported.

Most of the facilities and amenities we booked the house for were broken by previous guests and not fixed or reported to us before we arrived. Everyday we found out something else was broken or missing and had to report it because they had a £800 deposit from us and we were terrified they might blame us. For over half our stay we reported something broken each day. The integrated hi-fi sofa, the shutters in the bathroom, the outdoor jacuzzi, the privacy blind in the indoor jacuzzi, the reading light (only thing they offered to fix), broken pool grate that my daughter sliced her foot on, lacking first aid kit, dishwasher tablets and soap (owners had to bring these plus plasters and antiseptic for my daughters injury), broken and missing hammock (that the owner had to replace with a friends hammock temporarily). When I reported the hammock the rental company told me that just because items are in the photos doesn’t mean they’ll be there on arrival. It was the owners that came to sort it. All this had such a negative impact on our stay. The rental company were lovely until things started going wrong and were then borderline aggressive when I suggested we shouldn’t pay so much for a property which is mostly out of order. Such a shame because the owners did all they could to fix some of the issues but the rental company would not arrange to fix the broken jacuzzi, blinds, or sofa hi-fi system and booking.com ended up doing the right thing and refunding us some money back to make up for it. The owners should ditch the agency because they were lovely. Really wanted to give this top scores across the board but we simply can’t because we didn’t get to use most of the main features while we were there and we paid so much money for it. Also, the outdoor shower drains completely clogged towards the end of the stay and absolutely stunk the entire outdoor area by the time we left.

We had a wonderfull time with our family in this amazingly beautifull villa. You have a spectacular view over Salobrena and the sea, because the villa is situated a little bit higher on a mountain. Closest supermarket about 10 minutes drive. The host is super kind! Comfortable beds!!

The swimming pool was a little bit cold, because of the cold outside temperatures (below 20degrees).
