The studio looked good, plenty of appliances. Could be really useful if you stay for more than 1 week. Dovud was really friendly and welcoming, and the lobby of the location was a good sign.
Cleanliness and deposit
The non refundable 50 USD was a crude joke. It was either this or deposit 1000AED (~275USD). I’ve had my fare share of deposits not being returned claiming false damages, so I chose to keep my money to spend, not block them.
And on the subject of cleanliness, while it looked like a modern building and the room looked premium, it is in dire need of professional cleaning. Limestone in the shower, balcony glass railing was quite dirty, there was sand on the floor of the balcony, musty smell from the bed/pillows (not sure exactly which), and from the left hand side of the wardrobe.
Also, the shower’s water pressure was stupidly low.
