More than excellent. A very lovely hotel with an interior courtyard that preserves its colonial style while being adapted for modern needs. It features an observation deck that offers the best views of the city and its beautiful nearby mountains. Breakfast was always ready at the scheduled time, a basic yet sufficient breakfast with a choice of three options. Considering the cost of this hotel compared to many similar ones, it is truly excellent; it offers everything you need for a comfortable, clean, and safe stay, allowing you to save money that you can instead spend on visiting the city's many beautiful sights. Alejandro, Christopher, and Jorge constantly keep the hotel clean and tidy, and are ready to assist with whatever is needed. Best location, walking distance to the center of the city from one side, and up to the Broken Bridge from the other side. Cuenca is a very walkable city; it is worth exploring it.

It's really a beautiful hotel, we got an amazing room with very nice beds. It was also very silent during the night. the location of the hotel is very good to discover the city. Breakfast was also nice, we liked the coffee. Parking was included.
The first day it took them almost 1 hour to prepare our breakfast (it was very good though). The second day there was nobody to provide us breakfast. We waited until 8h30 and then went to the city to have breakfast ourselves. Afterwards they gave us 5 USD discount on the room as breakfast was normally included. It's a bit weird that you say that breakfast is included but don't leave a note when you're not there to give it... Next to that the parking lot was also an issue. The hotel guys told us it was included but when we wanted to drive away the parking lot owner said it was only until 8h30 and then we had to pay... checkout was only at 11 and nobody told us that we had to pay form 8h30 on. Also, the hotel owners were not even there at 8h30 to give us breakfast so how could we know?

Amazing location and beautiful architecture and interior
The room was a bit awkward to get bags into the door opened into the room and blocked entry. A very small annoyance in an otherwise beautiful place
